Meet Josh
Hi there! I'm Josh and I was a teacher for over 13 years. I am excited to have begun a new journey as a Private Tutor. I teach a wide variety of subjects across a range of ages and I pride myself in being able to make complex learning simple and easy to understand.
Throughout my career, I have had high expectations of students and helped them to achieve excellent outcomes while still teaching with passion, empathy and understanding.

"Josh was a brilliant tutor for my son Jamie. Before Josh came along Jamie would struggle with every aspect of maths especially as Jamie has Aspergers and extremely struggled with it.
Josh soon realised in one session that Jamie didn't know how to read the question properly, he would skim the question then say he didn't understand it.
Josh taught Jamie how to read the question and break it down into sections and this made maths so much more enjoyable. Josh helped Jamie to build confidence and taught him how to not panic when he couldn't get it. He taught him coping strategies for the exams which was invaluable. He made it fun but was firm with him. Josh's dedication to his students is outstanding and I know that Jamie couldn't have done it without him. He's an asset to teaching."
